The Pearson 26 is one of the most popular small cruisers ever built. It is stable and easy to sail with a large cockpit, a cabin for 2 4, and a marine head. The electric start 2010 Yamaha 8 hp outboard is reliable and easy to maintain. The stability of the hull, simple sail design, and auto tiller make the boat easy to single-hand or sail with a novice crew. 
The cabin has a sink with hand pumped water, dinette that converts to a bed, and cabin length bench seat/bed. The removable Igloo Marine soft sided cooler under the sink is large enough (26 quarts) to hold food for an overnight on the lake. The marine head leads to a forward cabin with a v-berth and a hatch for ventilation. There is lots of storage under the forward dinette seat and under the cockpit seats.
This 1982 Pearson is ready to sail away. The boat is here at our boat yard, and can be viewed her too.  
This well-maintained boat has been stored, serviced, & docked at Fays Boatyard, and actively sailed each year. In 2015 custom Bottomsider cockpit cushions were purchased and over $4,000 in new electronics installed by Fays:
